Howell Davies was founded towards a focus on Pipeline and associated piping systems Installations. Howell Davies is fully equipped with some of the latest equipment within the welding industry from Basic MMA to Full Automated Pipe Welding Systems.

Pipeline & Process Welding

At Howell Davies we have the knowledge and expertise to manage and perform any welding process on the most challenging diverse pipelines. Where required we con undertake and manage all Pipeline operations including: Stringing, Cold Bending, Welding & NDT. At present the welding processes most adopted are SWAW Cellulosic & Low Hydrogen Vertical Down, Semi – Automatic FCAW – SS ‘Innershield®’ and hydrogen controlled semi automatic RMD/STT processes for root beads.

Pipe Fabrication Capacity

Howell Davies has fabrication facilities of 2,000 x m2, being made up of workshops 4,000 m2 & external works area of is envisaged to be capable of producing an aggregate of (160 to 200 tonnes) of product per month, due to our heavy investment in state-of-the-art equipment. Our equipment such as automated handling equipment, welding and bending machinery speeds the fabrication process with greater accuracy and quality. Our determination in this area will lead us to being the most sought after company in pipe fabrication and installation, unmatched in our industry. Additionally, our accompanying steel and piping non-destructive and hydrostatic testing is incorporated within this workshop at our premises.
